Alanis morissette's son's birthday is on christmas, An ex-nanny for the singer’s son Ever is claiming that the family did not allow her to take meal breaks or leave the baby unattended while he was sleeping for any reason. She also claims she was not paid overtime when she traveled on tour with Alanis.

Alanis Morissette was sued by a former night-shift nanny who looked after her son, Ever, 2 1/2. The lawsuit was filed by Alanis’ former nanny Bianca Cambeiro on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles Superior Court. She is seeking $30,000 in alleged unpaid wages and $100,000 for emotional damages in her claims.

Bianca Cambeiro was the night nurse for Alanis, 39, and her husband Mario Treadway‘s son, Ever, who was born on Dec. 25, 2010. She said that she worked three to four days a week from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. from August 2011 to March 2013, according to the lawsuit. She reportedly received $25 an hour.

“The former employee contends she was never paid overtime and was denied rest and meal breaks daily, and also traveled with Morissette on tour and worked seven days in a row on seven different occasions,” reports Radar Online.

The ex-nanny claims that she was not allowed to leave the baby unattended while he was sleeping for any reason, unless one of the parents or the day-shift nanny took over, reports TMZ.

The woman also alleged that she worked unpaid overtime, and when she challenged the family’s accountant why she was not being compensated, she was reportedly told “we don’t do that,” according to Radar Online.

The nanny did not specify whether she quit the job in March 2013 or if she was fired.
