Will Miley Get Wild At The MTV EMA? 'Professional Party Starter' RedFoo Weighs In
Will Miley Get Wild At The MTV EMA? 'Professional Party Starter' RedFoo Weighs In, 'This is serious to me' EMA MC RedFoo says of his role as ringmaster at Sunday's epic show.

Despite what his appearance (and his pro-party sentiments) might suggest, RedFoo is taking his job as emcee for the 2013 MTV EMA very seriously.

In fact, he's using every minute leading up to Sunday's show to prepare ... including the 10 he set aside to talk to MTV News about the gig.

"Right now, I'm getting into a car. I'm doing an interview while getting into a [Porsche] Turbo S. This is multi-tasking," he laughed. "I'm also taking notes, and after this phone call, I will assess what went well, what went bad, and I will be fixing that up until the show."

He's also not skipping the gym: after all, serving as emcee requires intense physical training. But he's doing a lot more than just lifting ... seems Red's taking a holistic approach to his training.

"I'm preparing very strategically. I just got out of a mixed martial-arts class; I'm preparing my wind and my flexibility. I'm doing some work on my vocal chords, that will enable me to hit a high note, like 'What's up Party People?!?' You've got to train the larynx," he explained.

"It's strategic training; it's not just push-ups and sit-ups. It's a lot of physicality, a lot of improv. I'm reading a lot of books, but I'm not just reading them, I'm throwing on a beat and I'm rapping my readings. I will read the book aloud and rap to the beat, making it connect to the beat. It's improv. It helps with timing and rhythm."

And as he prepares to head to Amsterdam for this year's EMA, Red is already thinking of ways to make the show a party for the ages: and that includes managing this year's stable of performers, a packed bill featuring the Killers, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus. It's a smart plan ... after all, we know what happened the last time Miley showed up at an MTV awards show.

"I haven't spoken to Miley just yet, but when I get down there, I plan on having a nice little meeting," Red said. "I'm just going to tell her 'Look, Miley, I don't want any surprises. Let me know what's going on.' I run a tight ship. This is serious to me. I'm a professional party starter."

The 2013 MTV EMA will air in the U.S. on Sunday, November 10 at 7 p.m. on MTV, kicking off with a live broadcast from NYC hosted by "Glee" star Darren Criss, Cher Lloyd and "Guy Code's" Andrew Schulz, and featuring sets from Fall Out Boy, Jason Derulo, the Wanted, Ariana Grande and Austin Mahone.

And, yes, RedFoo approves of this opening act. In fact, he thinks it'll serve as a perfect lead-in to what's sure to be a wild night.

"You can expect something out of this world. I will definitely be getting ridiculous. You might see some flesh from Mr. Foo," he laughed. "It's going to be the greatest party of all time. Trust me."
