Tiger woods and lindsey vonn
Tiger woods and lindsey vonn, Tiger Woods and girlfriend Lindsey Vonn have had some "nasty" arguments because Woods hasn't planned on being at the Winter Games in Sochi to support Vonn in her return from knee surgery and her quest for more Olympic gold, the National Enquirer reported.

Woods reportedly is scheduled to play in the Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona from Feb. 19-23. Vonn's slalom and giant slalom events are Feb. 18 and 21.

Vonn reportedly is upset because not only is she trying to come back from a torn ACL, but also she supported Woods at his major tournaments this past season. She even provided him with good-luck squirrels.

According to the Enquirer's source: “Lindsey told Tiger: ‘I supported you this season. Now, it’s your turn to support me in public. I’m not just your cheerleader — I’m a world-class athlete too!’”

Earlier this year, Vonn acknowledged she wasn’t sure if Woods’ schedule would free up enough for him to watch her ski now that her knee is repaired and she’s ready to hit the slopes again. Vonn completed her first days of downhill training this week.

But she may want to look into goading him into a race or two, if she’s having as much trouble beating him in head-to-head games as she says. Vonn sounded chipper while talking with USA Today about her return to competitive skiing, but she did reveal that, in her relationship with Woods, the competitive Olympic skier is often bested by the competitive world-class golfer.

“We’re really competitive with everything,” she said. “Ping pong, tennis and whatever. I usually lose, which is really depressing.”

There is one child’s game where she still has the edge, though. “The hand-slapping game,” she said. “I’ve got better reflexes and better balance.”

She said Woods is hoping to make it to some of her events now that her lengthy knee rehab is over, but it’s a logistical challenge. “We’re trying to figure it out,” Vonn said. “But he definitely wants to be there. … He plays pretty much the entire year.”

Vonn had similar remarks for a People article when she was asked whether Woods would make it to the Winter Olympics.“We’re going to see how his schedule goes, but he’s hoping to come,” she said. “He’s kind of a fish out of water in the cold weather. It’s going to be really cute!”

Vonn also noted in that article that Woods doesn’t have any habits that irritate her, noting that “he doesn’t even leave the seat up.”

It looks like Vonn has the upper hand in that one, too.
