NFL Week 10 picks: Jake 'The Snake' Roberts likes Cowboys, Eagles

NFL Week 10 picks: Jake 'The Snake' Roberts likes Cowboys, Eagles, Stop me if you've heard this one: In Week 9, Jake "The Snake" Roberts once again got the best of our senior fantasy writer Dave Richard in their friendly NFL picks wager.

What started out as a fun back-and-forth between a pro wrestling uber-legend and one of our established NFL expert pickers has turned into a total squash match.

Dave probably came into this expecting to drop the big elbow, Randy Savage style, and easily win the contest. Instead, so far, Jake has dominated him as if he were a jobber. Maybe we can get Barry Horowitz to give Dave a pat on the back for good luck.

Things have gotten so dire for Dave that Jake actually offered to end the pain this week. Ever the optimist, Dave declined.

And so we move forward, with 8 weeks left in the regular season. Jake "The Snake" Roberts is still the best NFL expert picker vs. the spread on CBSSports.com. Not just against Dave Richard, but against everybody.

Forget making Dave look like Barry Horowitz. At this point, Jake Roberts is turning our entire writing staff into his own personal J.O.B. Squad.

THE WAGER

What's a prediction contest without a little something on the line? Here is what Jake and Dave risk if they lose the contest.

IF JAKE WINS: Dave travels to Atlanta and visits Diamond Dallas Page's Accountability Crib for an intense DDP YOGA workout and gets a lesson in gluten- and dairy-free living.

IF DAVE WINS: Jake visits the CBSSports.com office and must work with Dave for a day.

We'll find out who prevails after Week 17. In the meantime, here are Jake's Week 10 picks against the spread (the same spreads used in our CBSSports.com NFL expert picks):If you want to talk smack about these picks or just cheer Jake Roberts on, you can follow him on Twitter at JakeSnakeDDT. Also be sure to check out his brand new podcast on YouTube, Snake Radio (warning: explicit language).

Incidentally, this isn't the first time Jake has barged in on someone else's action -- on a dare -- and dominated them. Here's the time he stole Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Belt.
