George W. Bush plans to attend Messianic Jewish Bible Institute funder, The Messianic Jewish Bible Institute deleted website info on an appearance by George W. Bush although a Bush aide said the former president still will attend.

Bush was scheduled to headline a Thursday fundraiser – with tickets ranging from $250 to $100,000 -- for the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute, which has the goal of converting Jews to Christianity, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency said.

Bush's presence was removed from the site by Friday morning, Mother Jones magazine said. However, Bush spokesman Freddy Ford told the liberal magazine the former president's plans "haven't changed" and that he would attend the event.

JTA said institute employees declined to comment.
