The accident happened about 3 p.m. when a Mazda pickup truck that was headed south attempted to make a right turn into a driveway and was hit by a Scion car that had been behind it, Hilltown Township Police Department said. The car then veered across the center lane and into the northbound lane where it hit a Mack trash truck, police said.
The Scion was pushed in the opposite direction, coming to rest just north of the Schoolhouse Road intersection, police said.
The driver of the Scion was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The name of the man had not yet been released as of press time.
The drivers of the other two vehicles received only minor injuries, police said.
The investigation into the accident is continuing, police said.
