Football brings everyone back together, doesn’t it?

After Alabama standout A.J. McCarron rolled the Crimson Tide to a shutout victory against Ole Miss on Saturday, his rumored ex-girlfriend, former pageant darling Katherine Webb, was on hand to congratulate him with a kiss.

Webb, 24, was seen planting a cute but somewhat awkward congratulatory wet one on McCarron's cheek after the quarterback took a victory jog over to his parents.

The former Miss Alabama and her boyfriend called it quits, her mom told RadarOnline, due to apparent issues with their schedules.

Of course, he kissed mom and dad first, but then — with a dozen cameras watching — McCarron, 23, backtracked to Webb for a quick embrace.
The couple reportedly dated for a year, but as they rose to fame the relationship apparently fell by the wayside.
"Yes (they've broken up)," Webb's mother, Leslie Webb, recently told RadarOnline.

“Katherine’s just trying to stay real busy.”

Another source told the gossip site that they could just be on a “break” for now. Speaking to The News recently, the former Miss Alabama gushed about her love of football season in an interview about her sexy new Carl's Jr. and Hardees ad campaign.

In happier times: Webb was on hand to support her main man at several events during the course of their year-long romance.

"I'm so excited about football season," she said. "I just love watching it. It gives me something to look forward during the fall. I'm pretty close with Auburn and Alabama."
The brunette stunner rose to fame after being spotted — and boldly pointed out for her beauty — while cheering on her man at the BCS title game in January.

But in her latest chat with The News, which occured a few days after the supposed breakup, Webb hesitated to say more than "I'm going to try" when asked if she would be cheering on the sidelines again this year.
Clearly, a shutout victory was enough for her to make a bigger effort.
