Katharine McPhee and her husband may be separated, but the "Smash" actress is reportedly mortified by the leaked photos that show her kissing her former director of the NBC musical series, Michael Morris, who also is still married.
"She is so embarrassed she was caught," a source told Us Weekly of McPhee's reaction to the pictures of her very public PDA.

While McPhee's marriage to 47-year-old producer Nick Cokas has allegedly been on the rocks for the past six months, Morris' wife, actress Mary McCormack, reportedly just found out about her husband's romantic relationship with the 29-year-old "American Idol" alum.

"Mary only found out this week about the affair after he confessed everything to her," an insider told Life & Style magazine.
"They have three daughters, so it's incredibly sad. He wants to keep the family together, but as far as Mary is concerned, it's over. There's no going back.
Michael Morris married actress Mary McCormack in 2003 — and she is reportedly anxious to separate after news that he was kissing another.
"She had no idea anything had been going on. The last thing she ever thought was that he was seeing another woman," the source continued, also adding that they have been married for 10 years and always had a "solid marriage."
"At the moment, Mary wants to split up with him," the source said.
TMZ was the first to obtain the photos of the "Smash" star and director caught in a lip lock and also reported that McPhee and Cokas have indeed been separated for six months and are living apart.
"Only time will tell if Michael and Mary can make things work and get over this," Life & Style's insider added.
