Fleetwood Mac Cancels Tour, Pop band Fleetwood Mac has cancelled its Australian tour because John McVie has been diagnosed with cancer.
A statement on the band's website said McVie is scheduled to receive treatment during the dates of the Australia and New Zealand concerts."We are sorry to not be able to play these Australian and New Zealand dates," the statement read."We hope our Australian and New Zealand fans, as well as Fleetwood Mac fans everywhere, will join us in wishing John and his family all the best."
Fleetwood Mac has just completed the European leg of a worldwide tour and had been due to play 14 dates in Australia and New Zealand.Tickets for the November gigs will be refunded from today.
