Not only were they high school classmates, Diaz said, but the rapper was the actress' pot dealer.
"He was very tall and skinny, wore lots of ponytails in his hair," she recalled, "and I'm pretty sure I bought weed from him. I had to have."
"So you were green even when you were in high school," host George Lopez replied, joking about the "Green Hornet" star's environmentally friendly lifestyle.
"Absolutely," Diaz, 38, said. "You asked me when I got into the whole green thing…"
Diaz, who is currently dating Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, also admitted that her Long Beach, Calif., school "was pretty rough," with frequent fights between students.
"I used to get into fights with boys more than girls," the actress said. "For some reason, guys liked to fight me. I don't know why."
Diaz recalled one specific altercation where her ponytail was yanked by another girl.
