12 year old arrested, A TWELVE-year-old girl was arrested on Wednesday for continually bullying, taunting and harrasing another student at school.
Police say they were contacted by the victim's parents on September 20 but found the bullying intensified during their investigation, driving the victim to suicidal comments.
"This behaviour will not be tolerated by Stamford Police Department," said Captain Richard Conklin and Lieutenant Diedrich Hohn, in a statement.
"If it is brought to our attention we will vigorously investigate the allegations and make arrests when appropriate. We investigate all claims of bullying and this type of behaviour will not be condoned in a learning environment."
The teenager was charged with disorderly conduct and released into her parents' custody.
