“They’re inseparable,” a source close to the Twilight actor told The Daily Mail. “Rob loves the fact that Riley is Elvis’s granddaughter – that’s true Rock’n'Roll royalty in his eyes.”
The attraction of Riley’s heritage is not hard to understand considering that Rob is a guitar playing musician himself. He and Kristen often went to see his friend Ben Foster perform.
Rob and Riley were recently in long term relationships — Riley and her Magic Mike co-star Alex Pettyfer ended their 18-month long romance earlier this year — but what is weirder is that Riley bears a striking resemblance to Kristen!
Furthermore, the new couple are reportedly planning to spend July 4 together, before Robert starts filming Map to the Stars, in Toronto, on July 8. Riley’s next film Mad Max: Road Fury recently wrapped, and will hit theaters in 2014.
Rob and Riley’s romance is “short-term lust right now rather than long-term love,” continues the source. They met through Kristen when both girls starred in The Runaways, but they stayed better friends than Riley and Kristen.
“Riley was always Kristen’s friend dating back from their time filming The Runaways, but recently Rob and Riley been spending much more time together since meeting through their Dior modeling connection, and Riley has stayed over at Rob’s Los Feliz apartment,” continues the source.
Riley and Rob are the faces of Dior Cherie and Dior Homme fragrances respectively, and they got to know each other better at recent promotional events.
Rob must really have fallen hard for Riley, because following his breakup with Kristen, HollywoodLife.com learned that he was not planning on having one night stands. He believes in having an “emotional connection” with a girl first, before getting that intimate with her.
It is not surprising that they are really into each other, because they have so many common interests, aside from just acting.
“They have a lot in common- they both love LA, London, rock music and table tennis,” says the source.
This is truly surprising news. Who knew Rob would move on so fast? Kristen is currently in Paris to attend some fashion shows, and she is said to be “livid” about this new romance.
