Late-term miscarriage, Jack Osbourne's wife has had a miscarriage. Lisa Stelly confirmed the tragic news in a blog post that she admitted she had been 'dreading' writing.
The couple, who were expecting a son, lost the baby last week and Lisa explained that she needed to come to terms with the loss before announcing it.
'I have been dreading this announcement…. I needed some time before being able to say it,' Lisa wrote in a post titled 'Unfortunate Announcement' on her blog Raddest Mom.
'Jack and I lost our baby boy last week. Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time.'
Despite the tragic news the pair, who are parents to 16-month-old daughter Pearl, are doing their best to stay positive.
'It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments,' Lisa wrote. 'We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.'
Before heading to bed that day Lisa tweeted: 'Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby & shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love & support. It means the world.'
Jack and Lisa, both 27, married in October and announced that they were expecting their second child just one month ago.
Lisa revealed that she was in her second trimester at the time and said that the couple felt 'so blessed'.
'Jack and I are super excited to share with you all that we are expecting our second baby!,' she wrote underneath a picture of her with Jack and Pearl and her positive pregnancy test.
'I am in my second trimester, feeling great & trying not to eat everything in sight. We feel so blessed that our family is growing & Pearl will have a little brother or sister to play with. It’s crazy to think that we will soon be a family of four!'
Despite the tragedy Jack was seen putting on a brave face on Thursday and managed a smile as he showed up to the first day of Dancing With The Stars rehearsals.
