Kit harington and rose leslie split, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have split. The "Game of Thrones" actors and real-life lovers have decided to end their off-screen romance after about a year. On Aug. 11, MSN Wonderwall confirmed the news saying that the pair has indeed parted ways and that they are keeping things as private as possible.

"Rose and Kit are no longer together. Rose has a new boyfriend who is not in the public eye. She is eager to keep this relationship out of the spotlight," said a source. Rose and Kit became close on set -- likely after some of their steamy love scenes. They took their on-screen romance home but things just didn't work out.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie play Jon Snow and Ygritte on "Game of Thrones." When Snow ("the bastard") leaves the "Night Watch" and heads out into a world he doesn't know, he is essentially captured by Ygritte who is part of Rattleshirt's band.

After the two took turns capturing each other they fell for one another and Ygritte became Snow's first real lover in a very long time (he preferred not the sleep with random women for fear they would become pregnant and he'd have a bastard child of his own).

Obviously there was a lot of chemistry between Kit and Rose on the show and it's no wonder that they wanted that passion off-camera. However, like many on-screen turned real-life couples, there wasn't enough other stuff there.
