Spencer Pratt banned from Costa Rica, Reality TV star Spencer Pratt has been arrested in Costa Rica for illegal weapons possession - and banned from the country.
"The Hills" star was reportedly apprehended at an airport on his way back to Los Angeles and forced to give up his "hunting weapons" over the weekend.
Details remain sketchy, but, in a tweet, Pratt reveals, "I've spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person. I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive.
"As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport. It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way."
He adds, "On an unrelated note, I'm not allowed in the country anymore."
TMZ.com has obtained an arrest document that appears to confirm the star was indeed arrested.
