Hulk Hogan Wants Chris Hemsworth For His Upcoming Biopic

Hulk Hogan Wants Chris Hemsworth For His Upcoming Biopic, Hulk Hogan reportedly wants Chris Hemsworth to star in his upcoming biopic. Apparently the former wrestler feels a kinship with the long-haired hero from Asgard. Hogan is said to be in the early stages of development on his life story.

The iconic wrestler recently stated that he had a small team of young writers working tirelessly on the script. During a recent chat with the Cape Breton Post, Hulk Hogan remarked that he would love to see Chris Hemsworth tackle the lead in his proposed biopic.

Although he didn’t mention the actor by name, he told the publication that he wants the guy from Thor to possibly handle the role.

“We need a serious, serious actor that knows what he’s doing. You know who I thought would be good? That guy that did that action movie, ‘Thor,’” Hogan explained. The wrestler explained that the motion picture based on his life story will feature a little bit of everything. Not only will fans get to see Hogan’s epic rise to international stardom, the film will also spend a bit of time exploring what happened to the big guy once he stepped out of the ring.

After Hulk Hogan read over the four-page treatment put together by his team of “hot young writers,” he gave them the go-ahead to pen the screenplay. Hogan said he was incredibly impressed with their work.

“They’ve got wrestling in their blood, they were huge Hulk Hogan fans, so they followed not only the smoke and mirrors that you see on TV, but they followed personally what I was going through: the divorce, the car accident, all the drama, the eight back surgeries, the hip replacements, the knee replacements,” he told the publication.

This writer certainly hopes they spend a little bit of time discussing Hogan’s brief foray into Hollywood. Suburban Commando, No Holds Barred, and Shadow Warriors need a little love these days.
