Half-court shot earns Colorado State students year's tuition, paid by CSU coaches, CSU student Andrew Schneeweis won’t have to take out any loans for this year’s classes.
He drained a half-court shot during CSU’s pep rally Saturday night to earn his tuition-free year thanks to CSU head coaches Tom Hilbert, Larry Eustachy, Jim McElwain and Ryun Williams putting up the money for the lucky shot.
Volleyball coach Hilbert tweeted: “nHey @A_schneeweis great shot. The energy you brought to the event tonight was unreal. Worth every penny.”
Football coach McElwain tweeted: “Hey @SportsCenter...you gotta see our man Andrew hit this half court shot for some free tuition! Wow! Happy to be paying some of the bill!!”
Women’s basketball coach Williams tweeted: “@A_schneeweis u quit smiling yet? I’m still jacked! Don’t forget to get ur tail to class tomorrow boss!”
