Boy george London arrest false imprisonment

Boy george London arrest false imprisonment, Boy George has reportedly been arrested in connection with an allegation of false imprisonment and assault in east London.

The 45-year-old former Culture Club singer and another man are alleged to have handcuffed Auden Carlsen to a hook on the wall after inviting him to Boy George’s house in Shoreditch to pose for photographs, according to reports.

Scotland Yard have confirmed they are investigating an allegation of false imprisonment and common assault made by a 28-year-old man at an address in London EC2, believed to have occurred in the early hours of Saturday.

A police spokesman said: “Hackney CID are investigating and a man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the allegation.

“He was originally taken to an east London police station but has subsequently been bailed to return on a date in July pending further inquiries.”

The Sun reported Mr Carlsen as saying: “I was convinced I was going to die.”

The escort reportedly pulled the hook from the wall and fled to a nearby newsagent’s, from where he alerted the police.

Last year, Boy George – real name George O’Dowd – was given community service in New York after pleading guilty to falsely reporting a burglary at his lower Manhattan apartment. The officers who responded found cocaine instead.
