According to the Houston Chronicle on Tuesday, April 9 the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported that stabbing took place at around 11:20 a.m. at the Cy-Fair campus of the Lone Star College at 9191 Barker Cypress.
Because of the severity of some of the stabbing victims the emergency officials had to transport four people to the local hospitals.
Police officials reacted quickly to the incident to ensure that they maintain control of the situation. The campus was immediately placed under lockdown while police officials worked together to locate and apprehend the suspects.
This isn't the first violent incident that has happened at the Lone Star College. In January, three people were shot during a fight, including a maintenance worker accidentally hit during the incident.
Violence on college campuses has caused major concern from parents who fear for their children as they send them off to school. The issue still remains as to how school officials can better keep their college campuses safer for everyone.
